Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, PSA to the Govt. of India, inaugurated the Centre for Innovation in Agri & Aqua Voltaics (CIAAV) and the Integrated Facility for Wellness-Product Innovation (IFWPI) at the School of Agro & Rural Technology, IIT Guwahati.
The facilities are designed to promote interdisciplinary research and innovation in agrivoltaics, aquavoltaics, and wellness-product development, with a focus on strengthening rural entrepreneurship, livelihood generation, and technology deployment in the North-Eastern region.
