About PAIU
The Policy Analytics and Insights Unit (PAIU) is established by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India to support initiatives & processs by providing data-driven policy analysis and insights.

PAIU provides analytical and policy management support to various initiatives like G20 - Chief Science Advisers Roundtable (G20-CSAR), National Technology-led and Deep Tech Policy, various processs and initiatives of Prime Minister Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC) along with on-demand support for various S&T matters of Indo-US Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technologies (iCET) and Indo-European Union Technology and Trade Council (Indo-EU TTC).
