
Science Communications Specialist
Ayushee is a Communications Specialist at the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, focusing on long-form outreach content. With over eight years’ experience in education, media and communications, she is a Global Aerospace Media Awards nominee and has authored works on aerospace, defence, lifestyle, and arts.
She has spent over five years as an aerospace journalist and has actively engaged with India’s space ecosystem for the past four years, working with organisations such as NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), IN-SPACe, Indian Space Association, and SatCom Industry Association–India. She has documented and participated in global and national space events as a host, moderator, reporter, and organiser.
Committed to informed policy and workforce development, she aims to inspire young minds by simplifying complex subjects into engaging narratives. In line with that, Ayushee has conducted workshops on “Careers in the Space Economy,” “Creative & Critical Writing,” and “Public Speaking” at institutions including Punjab Engineering College, Rishihood University, and Manipal University. She has also interacted with space agency heads, astrophysicists, start-up founders, and defence personnel during panels and interviews to initiate discussions for students.
She holds a BA (Hons.) in English from Delhi University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media, and an Executive Master’s in Space Economy (online) from SEAC Academy, Germany.
