Dr. Anurag Anand

Dr. Anurag Anand

Research Fellow

  • Dr. Anurag Anand is a Research Fellow with the Office of Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India - Policy Analytics and Insights Unit. Before joining the Office of PSA, Dr. Anand worked as a Research Associate III with the Department of Science and Technology’s Centre for Policy Research at IISc Bengaluru.
  • With over 5 years of professional work experience in the domain of STI indicators and policy research, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing evidence-based policymaking in India’s S&T ecosystem. His research interests include the economics of innovation, industrial policy, STI statistics, and the export performance of firms.
  • He has a PhD degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and an MPhil degree in Economics from Central University of Gujarat.
