  • Pawan Sharma is a purpose-driven Tech social leader with over 8 years of cross-functional experience in ICT Led Social Innovation, Digital Skilling, Entrepreneurship, and Government Affairs. 
  • Previously, Pawan was managing NASSCOM Foundation Strategic Government partnership on IT/ITES skilling, flagship innovation challenges, and Govt. affairs where he was able to align, scale, and sustain initiatives that propelled NASSCOM Foundation innovation programs to achieve its goals of social transformation and impact through technology. He was fortunate to drive Microsoft Supported Innovate for Accessible India, Google-supported Women Entrepreneurship Program, and HP-supported Digital literacy Van. In a short period, he ensured that NASSCOM FOUNDATION emerged as a convener and non-profit partner of choice for the technology sector, Government, and civic bodies.
  • Before engaging in the foundation, Pawan spent over 3 years in various NGOs, where he donned multiple hats at the leadership level. One of Pawan's greatest contributions to various NGOs was to redefine Volunteering to build communities. Community building ensured 80% of sustainability to solve any social pressing problem. With Pawan's intervention of facilitating community building opportunities, they were able to sustain at one-third cost.
  • He has also supported India’s first “Swachh Sagar Surakshit Sagar Mission and currently closely working with the Ministry of Earth Sciences to define the campaign sustainability to achieve the larger blue economy goal. He has also contributed to NitiAyog ICAN Covid-19 Committee to facilitate Govt. and industry partnerships to mobilize CSR funds in the national Covid relief work.
  • He vouches for people, policy, partnership, data & democratizing technology and has the acumen for investing in, building, and nurturing people, communities, and volunteers that help achieve sustainable, scalable, and adaptable social impact.
