• B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Utter Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) in 2007
• Joined Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO) as Scientist-B in 2009
• Worked as Scientist B at DEAL, DRDO, Dehradun worked in the PSoC-based embedded system for handheld Software-Defined Radio (SDR) System between 2009 & 2012
• Transferred to LASTEC, DRDO, Delhi worked in control and console electronics of High Power Fiber Laser (HPFL) system for 1KW Laser and design and development of Laser-based Directed Energy weapon (DEW) System for CHESS, Hyderabad and other embedded system-based solutions between 2012 and 2020
• Transferred to IRDE, DRDO, Dehradun as Scientist D worked in the Image Processing Unit (IPU) of Submarine Periscope for Indian Navy  in 2021
• She has written three papers on Ethernet-based solutions for embedded application, FPGA, VGA controller Module, and time of flight measurement applications.
• At the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, Ms. Deepika has the following responsibilities:         

         1. Nodal officer for the Student community outreach programmes under Azadi Ka Amrit                      Mahotsav

         2. Coordinating officer for handling futuristic projects related to space application
