B. Shaheena

Shaheena serves as a Programme Specialist in the Strategic Alliance Division at the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, working towards strengthening strategic partnerships across academia, industry, government and the innovation ecosystem. Her work focuses on facilitating collaborations, identifying emerging opportunities, and enabling effective engagement among diverse stakeholders to advance science, technology and innovation. 

She supports initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional capabilities, promoting industry–academia collaboration, and facilitating the identification and resolution of technology and innovation challenges. Her responsibilities include stakeholder outreach, partnership development, ecosystem mapping, institutional engagement, and coordination with higher education institutions, industries, MSMEs, industry associations and other ecosystem partners. 

Through her work, she contributes to building collaborative platforms, promoting applied research and technology adoption, and strengthening institutional and industry linkages to support innovation-led development and address emerging technological and societal needs.
