Sourav Sharma

Sourav is a public policy and stakeholder engagement professional with experience spanning government, public health, strategic communications, and development initiatives. He has worked across stakeholder engagement, programme development, research, and partnership-building, with a focus on translating policy priorities into actionable programmes and collaborations. 

Sourav holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from O.P. Jindal Global University. His professional experience includes working with development organisations and public health initiatives, where he has contributed to programme planning, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and implementation of large-scale initiatives. 

In his current role in the Strategic Alliances Division at the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, Sourav leads engagement with Central and State Governments to facilitate collaboration on science, technology, innovation, and development-oriented initiatives. His responsibilities include coordinating with government departments and senior officials, supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, facilitating partnerships with government and other stakeholders, preparing policy and programme briefs, and advancing initiatives such as the RuTAGe Smart Village Centres.
