This technology enables construction of low-cost, durable water storage tanks using locally available natural fibers such as coconut and banana. Developed by RuTAG IIT Bombay and promoted through mason training by Jalvardhini, it offers an eco-friendly alternative to concrete tanks, with successful installations up to 2 lakh liters across Maharashtra and Karnataka.
