Sarita Purple Seedless, developed from the Sarad Seedless variety (1984–2003) and released in 2004, produces elongated berries (3.5 cm), large bunches (550 g), and high yields (26.5 t/ha). Cultivated on more than 20,000 hectares across Karnataka, Telangana, and Maharashtra, especially in Solapur and Nashik, it is highly valued for its size, taste, productivity, and strong market price.
