This technology provides a sustainable solution for managing pine needles in the mid-Himalayan region by converting them into high-calorific fuel briquettes. The briquetting machine, with a 1-ton/day capacity, provides a viable substitute for coal while generating rural livelihoods through community-based operations and promoting forest fire mitigation. Support includes establishing supply chains and industry linkages.
