This technology modernises the traditional craft of felt-making, a key cottage industry in Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan. Replacing labour-intensive foot-beating with roller machines reduces physical strain, enables women’s participation, and revives sustainable livelihoods. Technical and training support are provided.
