Pheromone-Based Pest Management Technology

CSIR–IICT Hyderabad’s Pheromone Application Technology (PAT) is an eco-friendly Integrated Pest Management tool that minimizes indiscriminate pesticide use, reducing environmental and health risks. Covering isolation to field evaluation, PAT targets major pests in cotton, paddy, maize, groundnut, sugarcane, fruits, and vegetables, with two-season handholding support for adopters.
