overview
An indigenous pyrolysis technology converts banana peduncle and waste into potassium-enriched biochar (5–15% K), primarily in water-soluble form. Porous and alkaline, it improves acidic soils, aids liming, water retention, and carbon sequestration, and supplements plant potassium needs. Applicable in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, and gardening, with ongoing post-commercialization technical support.
