CSIR-IHBT Palampur has developed a peanut bar incorporating Spirulina for the fortification of iron and zinc. These products utilise different food matrices such as peanut, sesame, and cereals, and are designed to meet at least 20% of the recommended dietary allowances (RDA) of iron and zinc. Supported through post-commercialisation modifications to align with market demand and industry feedback.
