CSIR-NAL has developed multi-copter drone technology, including quadcopters, hexacopters, and octocopters for emergency medicine delivery, agricultural spraying, hyperspectral imaging, and geo-physical exploration. With payloads from 5–20 kg, a range up to 25 km, and an altitude under 500 m AGL, this technology is supported through licensing and deployment assistance.
