National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB) has developed IndiGau, a high-density SNP chip with 788K markers specifically for indigenous cattle. It provides 97.4% polymorphic markers, enabling accurate genotyping and identification of purebred and graded animals. Technical support is available for adoption, data interpretation, and integration into breeding programs.
