LQMH 1: Early-Maturing Quality Protein Maize Hybrid for Hill Regions

This early-maturing single-cross maize hybrid (100 days in Northern Hill Zone (NHZ); 80–85 days other regions) yields 7.5–8.0 t/ha and is recommended for the NHZ (Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Assam, Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh). Demonstrations confirmed its superior performance and nutritional quality in challenging hill agro-ecosystems.
