overview

ICAR has developed a standardized cultivation technology for Cordyceps militaris to enable commercial-scale production under controlled laboratory conditions. Using brown rice as the basal substrate with optimized nutrient composition, temperature, humidity, and light regimes, the technology ensures consistent fruiting within 35–40 days, yielding 12–14 g of high-value medicinal mushrooms per 500 ml jar.
