CSC-057 is a salt-tolerant (ECe 9.0 dS/m), high-yielding Asiatic diploid cotton (Gossypium herbaceum L) suitable for salt-affected Vertisols of Gujarat. It delivers 8.1% higher seed cotton yield and improved boll weight, along with a superior leaf K/Na ratio, enhancing productivity under salinity stress.
