overview

Improved Samba Mahsuri (ISM) is a high-yielding, fine-grain rice variety developed by introgressing three bacterial blight resistance genes (Xa21, xa13, xa5). It is clinically validated to have a low glycaemic index (GI < 55) and is widely cultivated. Seed samples and paid purity testing services are available for adoption.
