overview

KRL 213 is a semi-dwarf, salt-tolerant wheat variety developed by ICAR for saline (ECe 6.0 dS/m) and alkaline (pH up to 9.2) soils. With amber-colored grain, 11% protein content, and strong resistance to major wheat diseases, it yields 3.3 t/ha under salt stress and up to 6 t/ha under normal soils, outperforming traditional checks.
