CS 60 is a mustard variety developed for salt-affected areas across Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. With a maturity period of 125–132 days, it provides stable productivity under both normal and saline conditions. The variety contains 41% oil and shows tolerance to Alternaria blight, white rust, powdery mildew, downy mildew, staghead, Sclerotinia stem rot, and aphid infestation. Its robust plant growth makes it a reliable choice for farmers in stress-prone regions.
