ICAR-IISWC’s circular agriculture model integrates white button mushroom cultivation with the recycling of spent mushroom substrate (SMS) as organic manure for hill vegetable farming. This zero-waste system improves soil fertility, increases crop yields, and reduces carbon emissions.
