Pre-harvest fruit bagging in mango using brown paper enhances fruit quality with improved colour, firmness (0.98 N), TSS (21.4 °Brix), and TSS/acid ratio (67.0). Widely adopted in Mallihabad, this technology has resulted in large-scale use—over 3 crore bags in Uttar Pradesh enhancing fruit quality and farmer income by up to ₹30/kg.
