Developed by IIT Palakkad with the support of DST, the biochar machine and power weeder provide affordable, eco-friendly mechanization solutions for farmers. The biochar unit transforms crop residues into soil-enriching carbon, while the power weeder reduces manual labor through efficient field preparation, promoting sustainable agriculture and improved soil productivity.
