This onion variety, developed from Fursungi local through mass selection, delivers high bulb yield (38.06 t/ha) with an average bulb weight of 82.40 g. It shows better skin retention, lower purple blotch incidence (10.75%), faster maturity (121.3 days), improved keeping quality, and resistance to Stemphylium blight, thrips, and physiological weight loss. Multilocation testing and cultivation guidance have been validated by NHRDF and Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth.
