overview
Nethra Vaaman is the first dwarf cashew variety released by ICAR-DCR, Puttur. With a height of ~2.5 m and a 6 m canopy at 10 years, it exhibits slow growth, precocious and prolonged bearing. It is suitable for high-density and homestead cultivation, offering moderate yields with minimal pruning requirements.
