The Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India is facilitating Webinar: Why Should Countries Invest in Science? by India International Centre

India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi is organising a talk as part of the Centre’s ongoing Diamond Jubilee celebrations to be delivered by Dr V. Ramakrishnan, a structural biologist and co-recipient of the 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry on Saturday, 4th February 2023 at 18:30 in Seminar Rooms I to III, Kamaladevi complex, India International Centre.

Dr Ramakrishnan will be addressing the issue of Why should countries invest in Science?

The talk will be chaired by Shri K.N.Shrivastava, Director, India International Centre.

Venkatraman Ramakrishnan (born 1952) is Indian born British and American structural biologist who shared the 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with American biophysicist Thomas A. Steitz and Israeli protein crystallographer Ada Yonath, "for studies of the structure and function of the ribosome."
