Expression of Interest for Technical Collaboration for Bhopal Healthy City initiative

Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the GoI is facilitating Swasti, a Catalyst Group organization. The "Bhopal Healthy City" initiative, to take off in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh in the coming weeks, seeks to ensure all residents achieve good health and well-being. Using a multi-sectoral approach, five ‘healthy’ pillars of water, food, sanitation, environment, and individual & family access to healthcare will be used to jointly develop a plan of action. All key government and non-government organizations will be engaged and are expected to guide the process with their expertise and resources in a collaborative effort.

With support from Health Systems Transformation Platform (HSTP), Swasti will be working closely with the M.P. NHM to engage with various partners (public and private) and create a joint vision and roadmap. For concept note on the initiative, Click here 

This will be a multi-year initiative, with the coming year being focused on establishing a baseline for Bhopal and developing the roadmap.
