Call for Proposals for Entrepreneurship Development Program in Clean Cooking (Publication date: 9 Mar, 2022) (Results)

Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) Program, India in partnership with Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) through its in-country program partner in India – Finovista is organizing Entrepreneurship Development Program in Clean Cooking.

The program will work with Clean Cooking Stakeholders and Indian device manufacturers and service providers to support innovation through investigations cooking fuel, device requirements, pilots, sharing learnings and connecting them with program countries around the world. With cutting edge technology, world-class manufacturing infrastructure, and alignment to Government of India’s vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and “Make in India” coupled with the recently launched nationwide “Go Electric” campaign can lead to positioning India as a global hub for Clean Cooking Device Manufacturing.

Under the program, 10-12 entrepreneurs would be selected, trained & mentored for up to 3 months, to help them in creating a strategy and business plan and provide Cash Grant of INR 2.5 Lakhs each to top 3 Entrepreneurs/Innovators.
