Kerala Start-up Mission (KSUM) in partnership with Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India is organizing a “National Research Innovation Challenge (NRIC) to identify research centric ideas that could be translated into products having commercial viability.”
The challenge falls under KSUM’s Research Innovation Network Kerala (RINK), that facilitates links between frontline research organisations, start-ups, industries, corporate houses and government agencies to promote translational research. The thematic areas include space science, agriculture, healthcare, life science, smart city, cyber security, cloud computing, consumer tech and ayurveda. Fifteen applications carrying innovative ideas will be considered for the research incubation programme in Kerala. Those selected and ranked first, second and third will get respective grants of INR 10 Lakhs, 8 Lakhs and 5 Lakhs.
