Call for Proposal for Fourth Cohort of Climate Ready for Women in Energy

The Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India is facilitating the Climate Ready for Women in Energy, an entrepreneurship development program for women entrepreneurs in clean energy and energy access by Climate Collective Foundation and New Energy Nexus, India.

Climate Ready is a pre-accelerator program designed specifically for women entrepreneurs in clean energy & energy access business on business literacy and building successful business models through training and mentorship. The program is designed to bridge the missing skills so that women entrepreneurs build confidence and gain adequate knowledge to thrive in the market and actively seek support available in the ecosystem.

The expected outcomes of the program are as follows:

• Enhanced business literacy
• Improved confidence as an entrepreneur
• Larger networks and a participant in the Climate Collective's community in Climate Tech
• Direct entry to Climate Collective's initiatives to raise funds through grants and/or equity

Eligibility Criteria:

• A women founder/ co-founder in clean energy/ energy access/ mobility/ energy efficiency/ carbon.
• Be an Indian citizen and based/registered in India.
• The startup is at or near the Minimum Viable Product stage or pilot sales.

A pre-application webinar is being conducted on September 22, 2022 from 5 PM to 6 PM to help participants to understand the program structure, application, eligibility, offerings, etc.
