Frequency Hopping Waveform with Adaptive Data rate and Spectrum Allocation for Tactical Communications.
Tactical communications undergo interference from both wireless fading channel as well as jamming. A reliable communication under such scenarios is possible with robust anti-jamming waveform which can mitigate fast frequency selective fading dispersions. Adaptive data rate allows optimum communication varying SNR conditions. And simultaneous low-data rate calls are possible with adaptive spectrum allocation in a given bandwidth.
Anti-jamming waveform under fading channel dispersions poses unique challenges for PHY layer. The objective of the project is to design and develop a Physical Layer (modem and algorithms) for jamming resilient robust narrowband tactical communications with Adaptive Data rate and Spectrum Allocation.
