Low Cost Proximity Sensors for Ordinary Water Faucae

by
AGNii

Problem

Existing proximity sensors are built into the wash basins and are costly to fit and maintain.

Solutions

A new type of low cost wire loop capacitive proximity sensors which can be externally fitted to any ordinary wash basin or faucet in order to save water.

Brief description

The invention is a low cost proximity sensor based solution that will convert normal taps into sensor taps without disturbing the existing wash basin and tap. This will help in saving water and in maintaining hygiene. This proximity sensor has a high sensitivity to change in capacitance and operates quickly . It is based on a low cost proximity sensor design and rugged solenoid valve which makes any normal tap an automatic tap without any maintenance. This can be used in commercial places to avoid unnecessary water wastage.
