The Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India is facilitating Call for Design Vetting / Verification of Automatic Power-shift Transmission with 1200hp Transmission Power Rating by BEML Limited

BEML R&D has taken up Design & Development of Automatic Power-shift Transmission Assemblies for Dump Trucks to avoid dependency on Imported Transmission Assemblies.

As the complete Torque Converter and Transmission assemblies are Designed and Developed for the first time by BEML R&D and BEML is seeking reputed Design consultancy agency to ensure the reliability of the design by providing Design Vetting / Verification of Automatic Power-shift Transmission with 1200hp Transmission Power Rating as per the mentioned scope of work.

Expected Outcomes

The Design vetting agency shall abide by the following:

a)   Firm having expertise in providing design consultancy / design vetting of Automatic Power-shift Transmission for wheeled / crawler type equipment with vehicle rated power of minimum 400HP and above will be considered. The relevant supporting documents shall be shared for acceptance.

b)   The design vetting consultant agency shall share necessary reports and technical documents as per the scope of supply.

c)   The design vetting consultant agency shall extend technical support during engineering and performance evaluation of improved transmission as per design vetting agency recommendation.
