Joined as SCIENTIST-F in Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
Previously worked as Dy. Industrial Advisor in Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, where he was looking after all industry related issues for chemicals sector and Co-ordinating all Technical matters pertaining to Pesticides, Chlor-Alkali, Speciality Chemicals and other Industrial Chemicals.
He was co-ordinating for all International Conventions on Environment, Health and Safety like Rotterdam Convention, Stockholm Convention, Montreal Protocol, Kyuoto Protocol etc.
He was also co-ordinating industrial clusters (PCPIRs) and was looking after the Policy division in the Department.
Dr. Choudhary is also having more than 20 years of experience in Chemicals industry (both MNCs and PSUs) including Pesticides and Pharmaceutical industry and he is Doctorate in Chemical Sciences with 06 research publications in reputed journals.
He is certified by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) as a Lead & Technical Assessor for the assessment of Chemicals Testing Labs for the requirement as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Standards. He is also Certified as GLP INSPECTOR by NGCMA, Ministry of Science & Technology.
He has been “Representative from Department of Chemicals” in “Central Insecticides Board” and in “Central Insecticides Board-Registration Committee”, in the capacity of ‘MEMBER’.
He was also nominated as Member of Technical Committee in Narcotics Control Bureau to explore the possibility of blocking the illicit use of “dual uses” precursor chemicals for manufacture of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances and also ‘Member’ of Delegation from Government of India to participate in INDIA-USA Drugs Policy framework meetings at Washington D.C., in July, 2023.
He represented as ‘Member’ of Delegation from Government of India for AG-Group Inter-Sessional Meetings at Berlin, Germany in January, 2024 and in ROME, ITALY, in February, 2023 and for 10^th Conference of Parties meetings of BRS Convention at Geneva, Switzerland, in June, 2022.
Delivered Lectures as ‘Speaker’ in various International and National Conferences and other forums.
