INNOVATION & SCIENCE @BHARAT SERIES – 2

Academia and Industry roundtable on COVID-19 immunology, epidemiology, and post-vaccination research for pharmaceutical companies, medical devices makers, diagnostic lab networks, and healthcare CSR organizations.

Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India and Pune Knowledge Cluster is organizing the second roundtable of the INNOVATION AND SCIENCE@BHARAT series on 26th February 2021. This is an initiative of the Office of PSA. The roundtable will be attended by CSR and R&D heads of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, medical device makers, diagnostic lab networks, and other private sector companies involved in healthcare CSR. The event will feature presentations by heads of India’s science and technology clusters and other senior researchers who will talk about COVID-19 related research currently underway in the country. They will also highlight ways in which the industry can partner with Indian research institutes for COVID-19 research. These presentations will be followed by a Q&A session between the researchers and roundtable participants who might be interested in supporting the research studies.

The roundtable will also feature a keynote address by Prof. K. VijayRaghavan, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, on how Indian industry and academia can collaborate to help achieve India’s economic and social development goals.
