The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India had launched the Mega Science Vision 2035 to prepare India for future scientific challenges and opportunities in the six mega science areas - High Energy Physics, Climate Research, Accelerator S&T and Applications, Astronomy and Astrophysics, Nuclear Physics, and Ecology & Environmental Science. Developed through extensive consultations with scientists, researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and global experts, the initiative identifies the technologies, research infrastructure, and collaborations that will shape India's scientific future. The reports released serve as a roadmap for strengthening research, accelerating innovation, building advanced scientific facilities, and nurturing future talent. As India moves towards Viksit Bharat 2047, Mega Science Vision 2035 provides a blueprint for scientific excellence, technological self-reliance, and innovation-led growth.
